This was harassment, very unsettling, and unprofessional. We read other reviews on Yelp stating that this company uses random people to drop off in a van in neighborhoods to go door-to-door. She also had never heard of anyone named Dillon/Dylon that worked there. However, she did inform me that they were closed so no technicians were working as it was 4th of July holiday. Took his picture and called the police.Īfter he left, we called their office and the person answering the phone refused to let me speak to a supervisor and didn't know the name of any supervisor when asked. Let him know this was the wrong house for those types of games. Asked him to leave and he refused and remained standing on our porch still complaining about having workers with no work. He then claimed my neighbor at the end of the block sent him specifically to my home (complete lie because we don't know that family). When confronted, he said he noticed some bugs and wanted to offer their services because he had a crew waiting in the car all day to work (keep in mind, I didn't see a car or truck anywhere on our street nor do we have bugs). Our security camera caught one of their "sales people" lingering on our front porch WITH NO MASK staring into our home wearing a shirt with Ecoshield on it, an LA baseball cap, a tool belt and street clothes. No person ever said that, not the salesman, not the technicians, not the office. Lastly- when calling to complain, again AFTER I said I wanted to cancel, she says, it takes up to a year to get all the bugs out. Yes I certainly was- AFTER I said I wanted to cancel. I call to cancel, They claim I was offered a treatment to remedy the above. I can get these at Home Depot myself- I wasn’t paying for this company to throw around some dekko silverfish packs! (Which didn’t even work!) The second guy that came says There’s not much we can do- I’ll just throw some of these silverfish packs around to help. So why was I told to begin with they were part of the service? Oh- because this company says anything it can to sucker people in and then don’t live up to any of it!!! And then expect you to pay an outrageous cancellation fee when you figure out this company is a scam! And also says it’s bad for your dogs to have those bait traps out there. The next guy comes out and says no that won’t work, we can’t do that. Well then why was I told that? I contact the office and was told -well we can treat them like mice. First guy comes out and he looks at me like I have three heads- we don’t do voles he said. The salesman swore they took care of voles….The main reason I signed up. Horrible horrible horrible!!! This company makes claims they don’t even come close to living up to. I signed the contract based on the fact that the salesman (FALSELY) PROMISED this company would take care of voles and a silverfish issue. They promise an elite service unlike their top competitors, that is why you will pay twice as much, but the service they deliver is far from elite and I feel like an absolute fool.If I could give zero stars, I would! They have done nothing they claimed they would. The salesman went on and on about how they are different than your average pest control team went as far as to say they bury traps under the ground to eradicate entire nests, which we later found out is not true at all. When you have wasps on your house or a colony of ants show up, you want to know that the company you pay to service you, will prioritize their time to show up. Twice when we reached out to get service for a new pest ("between quarterly visits, if you ever need anything, we will be right out") the message didn't even make it to the office to set up a visit and when we called the office they could not send anyone out sooner than 2 weeks. We were told so many wonderful things from one of their sales members, Byron, and have been so disappointed to find that they do not deliver on their service as promised. ***BE CAREFUL FRIENDS*** Ecoshield can talk a big talk but they do not deliver, at least for my family.
